Happy December!

Hey Friends!  I can't believe it is already December - before we know it, it will be 2011!  I have been working like crazy and am still adjusting to having the store.  I love it, but it is a lot of work.  Luckily my friends and family have been hugely supportive.  For December, I am going to run a special on sibling shirts - if you buy 2 or more shirts, save 15%!  You must mention that you saw it on my blog when you check out - Here is a set I just did for a friend - super cute.

Hope all your holiday shopping goes well and don't forget to support small businesses.  For American Express card holders, when you register your card and shop at a small business that accepts AmEx, you receive a $25 statement credit trough the end of December.  Remember, Think BIG, shop small!

Thanksgiving Designs

Here is something I did for the girls last year and got so many compliments on.  I took a plain t-shirt and embroidered a turkey with ribbon feathers.  I also made a matching turkey clippie.  After I made the shirts, I found a skirt that matched the turkey and ribbons on sale at Gymboree.

So, friends - start hunting!  Find a cute pair of pants or a cute skirt and I can make a turkey to match them!  Happy November!

As a special to those who checked out my blog, turkey shirts will be only $20 until November 12th!

First Attempt

This is my first attempt at blogging.  I'm not really sure what I'm doing, but here goes!  Anyway, the general idea behind my blog is to showcase some of my ideas and hopefully help you come up with some of your own.  While checking out items at The Purple Goose, I found this great pair of Gymboree pants on consignment for Molly that were $9 and they were new with the tags!  I then purchased a turtleneck from Target (about $8.00) and put an M with polka dots around it to match the pants and then found a matching ribbon to make a bow.  So basically, I spent  $17 and turned it into a boutique outfit!  Granted, I didn't charge myself for the monogramming, so that helped on my cost.  I am more than happy to help you do the same (though I will charge you)  - find one piece that you really like and then I can help you design a t-shirt or a hair clip to go with it.  I'm getting more into designing things myself on the computer and really enjoying it.  I will continue to post ideas for the holidays.
